FIRE!

-This is what it looks like from Mountain Home-
-Last Thursday night a dry thunderstorm come through Idaho, igniting 21 different fires across the southwest. By Friday evening 11 of these fires had combined into two enormous ones the Elks Complex and the Pony Complex-
-The Elk Complex fire has 416 people working to contain it. It has burned (thus far) 90,249 acres and is 5% contained. The towns of Pine and Featherville have been evacuated.-
-The Pony Complex fire started just 12 miles outside of Mountain Home (that's 24 Miles from the base) but the wind pushed the fire up into the mountains. 240 people are working to contain this fire that has consumed 119,543 acres it is, at this time, 20% contained.  For more information you can go to this website www.inciweb.org
