A Long Weekend

-After spending Thursday with a sick baby, this girl took a bad turn. She stopped eating and her breathing became incredibly labored. Friday morning we went to the UCC. We spent the morning there getting breathing treatments, having blood drawn, and getting some x-rays. Around 1 on Friday it was decided she was going to need more attention and we were transported (ambulance ride) to St. Lukes Children's hospital. She did very well on the transport slept most of the way. Once there we were admitted and she was given more oxygen and lots of little monitors, and an IV. She received a breathing a treatment every 2 hours (which she did not like) throughout Friday and most of Saturday.  Saturday around 7 PM we were released to go home. Elle still gets breathing treatments every 4 hours and 2 doses of steroids (for a few days) and a preventive medicine for the next.....few month or years. She slept through most of the night, minus the times I woke her up for her meds. Now she is eating and playing. Right now she is doing awesome (taking a nap with dad)-
Elle refused to keep the oxygen in her nose, so the nurses put these cute stickers on her cheeks she still didn't keep it in.
 -Chilling with dad-

-She is obsessed with brushing her teeth-
-After we were told we were going home-
-The diagnosis is that Elle has asthma brought on by colds, change of weather, or allergies.-

Bennett Mountain

-My little family-
After I went to the dentist yesterday (can you tell my mouth is completely numb), we needed a low key activity to do as a family so we went on a drive around Bennett mountain and found us some awesome places to camp this summer! It was a nice way to spend the evening.

Christmas 2014 Work Project!

-Beware picture overload! Our Christmas gift to my parents this year was to finish some projects. We probably made more projects then we finished but there is always next year or the year after.
-Liam! His job was to move the leaves to the burn pile-
-Erica, helped with everything and watched the kids that were outside (mostly Elle)-
 -London-
-Branson, ran the shovel and wheelbarrow-
 -Zack, cased all the windows-
-Chase and Ty,  Chase cut the wall so Ty could get the front light to work-
-Erica, Elle, London, and Brian, This group fixed the sprinkler box and got the lawns taken care of-
-Kate and Nora, Kate helped watch kids and ran the errands-
-Branson, Boston, Emma, Liam, Madi, and Meg, enjoying there Popsicle break-
 -Elle loving it outside-
-Meg, this trooper stacked up the fort and helped Ross-
-Ross, burned all of the tumble weeds, and dead grass-
 -Boston-
 -Brice stacking up the bricks-
 -April, watched the kids-
 -Tia washed dishes all day-
-Brooks helped fill up the water storage-
-Hope cleaned out and up the storage room-
-Chase the carpenter, put in all the trim around the living room and dining room-
-Zack, Ty, and Chase,  these three did all the building on the inside of the house-

Overview of what was done: All water storage was refreshed, anything in the food storage that was out of date was thrown out, storage room was reorganized, windows were cased, front porch light works, new door hung in the dining room, bead board hung around front room and dining room, lawns were mowed, weed wacked, and fertilized, the sprinkler box was fixed and all the sprinklers work, all the tumble weeds were burned along with the tall grasses and dead leafs, the bricks were stacked back up, and the trailer was loaded with stuff to take to the dump. That's a bunch to accomplish in a days time.
One of my favorite things about my family is our ability to work together. Sure we bicker with one another and get on each others nerves but when there is work to be done I love that we can all get together and get the work done.

Kitchen remodel

-A long time ago Moms kitchen flooded and we got to remodel, I ran across these pictures the other day and thought they needed to be remembered.-
-In the process of pulling out the cabinets we ran across this beauty! Looks legit-
-Here is the Kitchen shortly after the cabinets were ripped out-
-The dining room, we pulled out that wall and relocated the electrical-
-Here is what the power lines look like now-
-I should also mention that the plumbing also had to be redone, honestly who puts the house on and off valve behind the same cabinets with the crazy electrical?-
-Here are the new breaker boxes-
-Dad and Chase adding insulation to the kitchen-
-The same kitchen with sheet rock and a new sub floor going down-
 -Looking into the dining room-
 -With the floor put in-
-Brian, Ty, Chase, and Zack putting in the boxes-
-The kitchen with new cabinets and floor, you can see we are still missing a few cabinet fronts-
-Here we are at lunch with a counter tops and a new fridge!-
